Kylie and Noah met as millennials do these days, Hinge! The classy dating app, as Kylie likes to say. While Kylie was supposed to be prepping to visit the East Coast for the 2019-20 holidays, she was procrastinating by swiping on Hinge to find her future husband (at least that’s what Noah likes to think). It seems that Kylie found what she was looking for when coming across a tall dark and handsome guy with a huge smile. That same day Noah was surprised and elated to match with an athletic, outgoing, accomplished, GORGEOUS, PHD wielding Kylie Jayne Swanson.  Of course as intimidating and exciting as this was, Noah waited until the next day to pull out the one liner of the century in response to an especially stunning picture with an Italian backdrop… “Hot Damn!”

Over the next few weeks while Kylie was gone for the holidays, Noah made it super weird with real phone calls before ever actually meeting. They finally got to meet in person on January 10th 2020 at a Colorado Springs local burger and bar place called Colorado Craft (the surprise in the basement is worth checking this place out).

They promised to keep it to kissing that night all for good intentions. Noah then insisted they should make immediate plans for a second date the very next morning at The Perk Downtown. Noah was hooked, Kylie was intrigued. Of course on this second date Noah broke the news that he would be deploying in less than 5 months. Holding on to a sliver of hope, the next few months were ecstasy (not even exaggerating).

Once back from the deployment Noah basically moved himself into Kylie’s house with all the ulterior motives (hang on and never let go). And only a few months later in August 2021 Kylie and Noah pulled the trigger on a condo in downtown Colorado Springs. Selling Kylie’s house and buying a new one together was one of the biggest steps towards starting a life together. The biggest step happened on March 19th 2022 when Noah got the cojones to finally ask for a lifetime of happiness. Luckily this happened to fall on an impromptu weekend vacation in Denver where following a big fat “yes I will marry you” Kylie and Noah enjoyed a very special Chefs Table dinner and got smashed with a far too fancy wine pairing.

On March 23rd 2022 Kylie and Noah sealed the deal at the stunning Colorado Springs County Clerks office. Yes, a mere four days later.

To this day Kylie and Noah enjoy skiing, camping, walking the few steps to all the downtown restaurants and bars, and of course each other.
